
At the VIII Biennale Internazionale D’Arte Contemporanea 2011 at Florence, Italy, held
from December 3rd to 11th 2011, Ruth Vulto Gaube received the 4th price of the ’Lorenzo
II Magnifico Award for Art and Culture’.
She received the award for the presentation of the following three sculptures.
Cantare
Alder wood, 240 x 74 x 34 cm.
Singing is standing up straight, enlarging yourself. Giving space to the sound within you, which wants to come out.
Meanwhile you are listening to everything surrounding you.

Belgian Blue Stone, 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
A deep, calm tone steadily flowing in itself.

Sound (high)
Marble, 100 x 12 x 12 cm.
A high, uprising tone into space.
